Fromage Blanc with Strawberries and Lemon Honey

We love this dessert because it’s not too sweet and each ingredient really shines.
1¼ cups full-fat fromage blanc (9 oz.)
¼ cup whipping cream
1 qt. strawberries, preferably small (about 1 lb.)
½ cup honey
Finely shredded zest of 1 1/2 lemons
1. In a bowl, stir fromage blanc and cream until very smooth. Spoon equal amounts into 6 shallow bowls.
2. Set aside 6 to 12 small, perfect berries. Hull remaining berries and halve or quarter lengthwise. Scatter over fromage blanc.
3. In a glass measuring cup, microwave honey and lemon zest until beginning to bubble, about 30 seconds. Let cool until warm but not hot, about 5 minutes, then drizzle over berries and fromage blanc. Garnish with reserved berries.
